The Ballard Tool Library is fueled by donations and work by our dedicated volunteers. We’re always accepting used tools and household items, and can provide a tax receipt for your records. Please keep in mind we can only accept tools when volunteers are working, and we cannot take gas powered tools. We may sell some donated items – all proceeds will benefit the Ballard Tool Library.
The Ballard Tool Library is open for walk-ins! Our hours are:
Monday: 5 to 7 p.m.
Thursday: 5 to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
CLOSED: JULY 4th & 6th
To make an appointment, visit our inventory to find the tool you'd like to check out, or select the "Non-specific appointment" item to come in and browse tools.
Volunteer
Library volunteers come in all shapes and sizes! Find your niche as a Tool Librarian, outreach volunteer, tool maintenance volunteer, repair specialist or lead a workshop. Interested in something else? Contact our Tool Library Manager and let them know what interests you!
